Architectural Structure Design
Taking the safety of the building structure as the top priority, the structural design is carried out in consideration of the physical optimum conditions such as construction cost of the building and construction cost related to the given conditions.
VE refers to improvement activities centered on functions for all objects of the construction industry, including construction methods and materials, in order to achieve necessary functions such as quality, air and safety required at optimum cost through functions and costs throughout LIFE CYCLE.
In order to minimize human and material damage from earthquakes in various parts of the world such as Haiti, Chile, China, etc., earthquake-proof performance evaluation evaluates earthquake-proof functions of OP, IO, LS, CP by level and if needed, functional improvement is reinforced to prevent earthquake damage beforehand.
Building Safety Diagnosis
According to the “Safety Inspection and Precision Safety Diagnosis Guideline” stipulated in Article 13 of the Special Law on Safety Management of Facilities Notified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the building safety diagnosis system is designed to determine the objective conditions by properly specifying necessary items such as implementation method/procedure standard and through appropriate inspection and diagnosis to maintain function and safety of the building, as well as systematize scientific maintenance.
SRF Earthquake-proof Reinforcement
The SRF method is an earthquake-proof reinforcement method in which a high-ductility fiber belt made of polyester material is reinforced by attaching to pillars or walls, using a tough adhesive. It is called ‘reinforcement of turret’. The tough adhesive is odorless and does not contain formaldehyde, etc. and uses environmentally friendly materials.
